What If I Need Financial Assistance?

PSA Soccer believes that all children should have the opportunity to play soccer regardless of their financial situation.  The programs below help families overcome financial barriers and lower the cost of registration fees so children can participate in local team sports and leagues. 

We recommend registering for our program early and submit your subsidy applications early.  It take a few weeks for applications to be reviewed and processed.

How Do I Pay?

Online Registration: We accept payment by credit\debit card (Master Card, Visa or Visa Debit). If paying by cash, please stop by the PSA office during our in-person registration dates.

In-Person Registration: We accept Visa/MC credit cards, Visa debit, cash, or e-transfer.

E-Transfer Payment: Email payments to director@psasoccer.ca (please email registered player contact information and password after sending e-transfer).

PSA Soccer no longers accepts cheques. Other payment options are available when registering with PSA Soccer (Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, E-transfer or Cash)

PLEASE NOTE: Registration is NOT complete until all payments have been received and paid in full.
 

Payment Plan Options:

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance subsidy programs are available via KidSports and Canadian Tire Jump Start to help lower the costs of registration fees so children can participate in local sports teams and leagues. 
  • We recommend registering for our program early and submit your subsidy applications early. 
  • It takes a few weeks for applications to be reviewed and processed.
 
Payment Plans

Our club offer reasonable registration fees and academy fees for our development and competitive soccer programs. Payment Plans are available to our club members in our City League (U10 to U17).

PSA Installment Plans - If you have questions or would like to discuss our PSA payment installment options, please contact us via email or attend an in-person registration event.

Our team will be glad to discuss a payment plan and schedule payments with you.
  • Payments Plans for City League Registration and Academy fees are *expected to be paid on time
    • It is the parents or guardians' responsibility to pay their fees on time. 
    • If payments are missed or neglected, your payment plan will be reviewed by our club adminstrator and club registrar.
      • Contact us if a payment is going to be late. 
      • Neglecting make payments may result in suspension from club and team activities (practices, technical and games).
Register early. There will be no PSA Payment Installment Plans after Registration Closes. 



Prospects Soccer Academy Player Fee


All club members pay a PSA Soccer registration entry fee which includes CMSA team entry fee(s), field\gym permits, uniforms, team equipment, etc. 

PSA Soccer has partnered with a private technical coach.. This will help create a player pathway and focus on the long term player development. Our tier 1 and tier 2 teams (including A\B) will be involved in our Prospects Soccer Academy technical training program.  This high intensity training programs provides our Tier 1 \ Tier 2 teams with extra practice time and learning the technical aspect of the game.  Our technical coaches are certified and hired as technical coach consultants.   Academy fees will include a minimum of 10 technical sessions during the season.   Player and Goalie Tech sessions are mandatory for Tier 1\Tier 2 players.


The Prospects Soccer Academy Fee Is $200.00.  After evaluations, tier 1\2 players will need to pay their PSA Soccer Academy fee online.  Goto to the Registration Page and access your son\daughters player profile (must have PSA Access Code) and pay for your PSA soccer academy fee with Visa, MC, Visa Debit or e-transfer to director@psasoccer.ca.  If you do not pay your academy fee, it may result in player transfer to a lower tier team.


Extra technical training sessions can be purchased if a Competitive PSA team wish to include technical training in their practice schedule.  This would be an additional cost to each player on the team. Coaches will need to contact their Age Group Coordinator.  Extra Technical Sessions must be authorized by our PSA Director as there need to be field\gym time and technical coach available.
 

Player Waiver & Proof of Age:

PSA Soccer Age Coordinators will be adding registered PSA players to Calgary Minor Soccer Association portal before the season starts in the spring and/or fall.
  • All players must have a parent or guardian consent to the CMSA player waiver form before participating in league play.
    • Waiver forms must renewed each year (October). 
    • New members will need to complete CMSA player waiver form if player has not played in the last calendar year.

  • To be eligible to play, new registered players (U7 and older) must provide a copy of proof of age.
    • Acceptable documents include: Birth certificate, Alberta Health card or Passport.  Please email a copy to info@psasoccer.ca

CMSA Player ID:

All Club Members (Players) registered for U11 and older require an CMSA Player ID card.
Check calgaryminorsoccer.com if you need a CMSA Player ID Card
  • If your child needs a Player Card, check the CMSA website for dates and times.
  • If your child played for another club then the previous coach should have returned your child’s Player Card to you at the end of their last season.
  • If your child is a returning player, it is your responsibility to ensure that your child retrieved their Player Card from their last coach.
  • If your child cannot find their Player Card, you MUST replace it through CMSA at your own expense ($10.00 fee for new and/or lost replacement CMSA player ID card)

Player Requirements:
All registered club members must have the following soccer attire before evaluations, try outs and soccer season play. No Exceptions.  
  • Players must have shin pads. Players are expected to wear their shin pads during practices and games
  • Players must have proper soccer shoes
    • Outdoor Soccer Cleats for Outdoor Spring, Summer or Fall Season
    • Indoor Soccer Shoes for Indoor Fall, Winter Season
    • Coaches may ask players to bring running shoes for Cardio or Dry Land Training
  • Players must have a water bottle. Players are expected to bring their own water bottles to practices, technical training, cardio/dry land training and soccer games
  • Soccer uniforms are included in the registration fee (jerseys, shorts and socks)
